Creating a fitting service…
Whether renewing your vows, welcoming a new family member or celebrating a milestone in life, a Life Ceremony is a wonderful way to commemorate an event in a way that suits you, and one which allows those you love to be right there with you…

Vow Renewals
Making your vows to the person you love is such a wonderful thing – why do it only once?! There are many reasons you might choose to renew your vows at some stage in your marriage or civil partnership – here are just a few:
- To celebrate a special anniversary
- To reaffirm your commitment after a separation or difficult time
- To mark the beginning of a new chapter in your lives together.
The content of a renewal of vows ceremony is often very similar to a wedding, including readings, music, the exchange or rededication of rings, and of course the vows themselves. You might choose to hold a lavish ceremony with all your family and friends and a reception party afterwards, or you may prefer a smaller ceremony with just a few select guests – either is fine, and anything in between. Your ceremony will be completely tailored to you, celebrating your relationship and looking towards your future with joy.

Naming Ceremonies
A naming ceremony is a beautiful way to introduce a new family member. The celebration allows family and friends to get together and welcome the new addition, as well as celebrate the love and support of each in attendance.
The traditional christening or baptism of a child doesn’t fit everyone, but the opportunity to get together with those who will be a part of the child’s life is still very important. If that sounds like you then a naming ceremony could be the perfect solution.
Naming ceremonies also present a special opportunity to entrust specific individuals with support or guardianship roles. You can choose to call them godparents if you wish; or alternately they could be guideparents, supporting adults, or anything you choose.
Naming ceremonies are most often conducted for babies and are often combined with a child’s first birthday. However they can also be held for older children, and are a popular choice for adopted children of any age as a way of welcoming them into their new family.

Any other ideas…?
As a celebrant it’s my job to help you celebrate with a wonderful ceremony, whatever the occasion. So if you’d like to craft a ceremony to mark any other stage in your life’s journey, I’d be delighted to work with you.
