Hearing from people I have worked with after a ceremony or service is something which – coming into this industry – I really never expected. That so many of you take the time to drop me a line when everything calms down a little means the world, and I thank each and every one of you.

Everyone commented on how well you spoke of my dad and my cousin thought you were a friend of the family because of the way you spoke of him. You were wonderful. The way you conveyed dad’s life with warmth, depth and feeling, genuinely touched every listeners ear. A heartfelt THANK YOU! When we finally got home last night I curled up on the settee with a brew & a blanket and my heart was content, it was filled with love.

Many people commented on how well you had captured Dad’s spirit and you helped us all through a day that whilst difficult was such a lovely celebration of Dad’s life.

All that I spoke with after the funeral commented, without being prompted, on how wonderful you were and how you had made a very sad occasion far more manageable.
You have a true gift to be able to do what you do. Your understanding of our family was compassionate, your interpretation of what we told you was incredible and as if you had known her yourself for years, and your delivery on the day was faultless and beyond what we expected. We could not have chosen a better person to speak at the funeral, you are a true professional at what you do and so thank you for making the funeral service such a lovely affair.
I hope not to attend too many funerals in the future, albeit inevitable, but you will always be highly recommended as a celebrant not only by me but, I know, also by those that were at the service.
